Burning the midnight oil!!

As a teacher, tutor, mentor, mother, and wife my job never ends. It is one of those things that you just have to love it or else you just wouldn't do it. I have a few pics I want to share that could be used to help those beginning readers. When children can recognize their letters, which is a symbol, then it's time to translate those letters (symbols) into sounds. The strategy being used with the alphabet and pictures can also be used with ESL students.
